Cali Trip

We leave Friday for Cali for over a week, wish us luck on the flight! Should be interesting!! Hopefully she sleeps! I will be sure to post my Cali pics when we get back! Until then....

Snow Day in Florida?

So I am home with Ava today (who is napping) because the Escambia County Schools are closed today (which means Daycare too), due to SNOW WARNING!! WHAT???? WE are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow, we'll see about that. Either way, I am home with my baby which is where I would rather be anyway. I will be sure to get pictures if it snows, but don't hold your breathe!

You know you are in the south when.....

We had breakfast at Cracker Barrell and had to get a shot of Ava in one of the FAMOUS white rocking chairs outside every cracker barrell restaurant. She thought the chair was made for her of course, sorry ava not buying a $75 chair that you will grow out of next week!

Here is a pic from McGuires this weekend, we all went to lunch, I love the faces she makes!! (Ava that is, Aunt Amy is pretty funny too)! Haha

Captured Clapping on Video Finally-she is camera shy:)

So Ava can clap and wave on "Q". As you will see she is not really a performer yet so it is hard to get her to do stuff willingly while the camera is on, she looks a little mad in this video, but I captured her clapping skills and some what of a wave on camera so thought it was worth sharing. She is much better than this, but at least you can see part of it:) She is still healing well and doing great!!

Another weekend!!

So Ava is doing great, she has been sleeping all night now in her crib...for those of you that don't know, that has been a MAJOR struggle for us because of her constant ear infections. She seems to be right back on track now!! YEAH! Here are a few pics from this week and a few of me and Sally and Jen from last night:) Hope you all have a great weekend! I am getting super excited to be going to Cali in a few weeks! Feb 19th-27th!! YEAH!!

Tubes went well!

We are DONE! She did great, doc said ears were really bad and she of course was not a happy camper coming out of the anesthesia, but we are home and she is getting back to normal every min. He says she will be able to hear much better now and hopefully NO more ear infections! YEAH!!!!!!!

Tubes!!

Ok, so we went to the ear nose and throat doc today and Ava is going to need tubes, she has fluid built up behind both ears (5 ear infections later). They hopefully are going to do it next Thursday, that is if her Respiratory Infection heals up enough to be able to put her under. I can't wait for the tubes, poor baby never sleeps because she is in so much pain! It can't be here soon enough. Wish us luck!!!

Bootilicous!

So here she is...doesn't even know she is not being very lady like at all....the next one I discovered her in the kitchen and she has out-smarted the child locks for the cabinets, as you can see she does not want anything to do with what is in the cabinets, just let me put this plastic thing in my mouth mom!!

Fort Pickens

Today is Grandpa Mike's last day here so we went out to Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach and checked out the fort, it was really cool, AND COLD!!! 30 degrees is super cold for Flordia! Anyone notice the fact that she is not even looking while I am CHEESING it up for the camera? She was looking at the birds!
